John Wilkerson
John spends his time working on real estate projects and helping with a large nonprofit ministry, acting as their technology guru. The rest of his time is spent renovating his home or puttering along on his tractor. The tractor is quirky and he is forever chasing some electrical problem or looking for lost lynch pins. Keeping an old tractor running is peaceful work and reinforces the belief that to enjoy life you must have good and hard times.
He has lived in both northern and southern climates—preferring someplace that has four seasons, a rocky beach, great fishing, and mountains. His shop contains a collection of tools from his grandfather as well as prized finds from flea markets and thrift stores. He collects BLENKO glass and is involved in a long running competition with his sister Wende for who can find the perfect piece of art glass.
