John relocated to the Menomonie area to pursue his passion for rural land development after relocating from Florida. He spent many years working with  builders on fire restoration and new construction projects.

Having experienced both northern and southern climates, he ultimately prefers a location with four distinct seasons, a rocky shoreline, excellent fishing, and mountain views. His workshop contains a collection of tools inherited from his grandfather, along with prized finds from flea markets and thrift stores.

Joe is a man of extraordinary talent. Not only did he hand-build his own rammed earth home at an elevation of 10,000 feet in the Rockies, but he also considers it a great pleasure to ride his mountain bike up Pikes Peak. Having lived in Colorado for more than 30 years, he is deeply rooted in the local community.

He frequently travels between Wisconsin and Colorado to collaborate with John at Liberty while searching for property in northwestern Wisconsin, where he plans to build a second home. A highly skilled craftsman, Joe is capable of single-handedly raising a barn or constructing a solar power station to sustain his remote homestead.
